Craig,Danny,Scott,Tracy: We wanted to thank you for your friendship and for being such a encouragement to all of us. When we get to be at your singings we are always blessed by your witnessing through song and testimony. It helps us to keep our focus on Christ and not on ourselves and our trials. Thank you for the CD's you have shared with us, they are always shared with others that we know also need some encouragment. We pray for all of you and your families. We pray that God will continue to put people in front of you to hear the Good News. Scott: Judy told me what you said about wanting to witness more. We have a CD by Ricky Scaggs that includes Billy Graham speaking on salvation within a track. I thought it was a powerful thing. You probably have listened to it as well. I wonder if you guys had ever considered including a invitaion on one of your CD's. Craig: We thank you for lifting Jonathan up in prayer. Thank You !! Thank You !! We KNOW the power of prayer. Danny: Thanks for sharing your testimony that night at Ron's Barn. We all know that someone who was there that night needed to hear that. When our Lord tells you to speak he gives you the words. Tracy; We have been praying for your Mom and will continue to bring others into our circle of prayer. Thank you for sharing your testimony the other night at Dunn. We all know that someone there needed to hear those words of comfort ( I know that Judy did ) ( I know that I did ) Just before my mom passed she asked me one day at the rest home did i hear people talking. I said no mom i don't hear them. Then she asked me to look at the door that leads to the bathroom. I looked at it and she asked me if i saw a light. I said no mom i don't. She asked me again before we left that day about it , but i could not see or hear anything. My mom was 93 when she went Home and i believe she knew and saw where she was going, She had complete control of all of her body and mind. She was very alert and very mobile. She passed in her sleep just as she had always prayed for. I needed to share this with you. If i have upset you please forgive me. When you sing " If You Only Knew " I remember what my mom saw and heard that day, it brings me great assurance to know that she is with Jesus and i will get to see her again. We have been blessed beyond belief seeing what our Lord is doing in and thru all of you. We are so thankful for a loving Savior that brings people together to share in His love and to share it with others. Ed,Judy,Jonathan Patton |

I just wanted to thank you and BLACK CREEK for performing at our festival. I have gotten a number of compliments for bringing you guys to our annual event. Everyone was touched by your testimony, witness, and music. Thank you again.
I don't know if you do repeat performances, but if so, we would like to invite you to come back again next year. Let me know if you are available. Regardless, know that I appreciated your commitment to performing at McMannen. |

Folks, what a treat to hear your inspiring and clean sound. Too bad it took four years for you to get here. I saw people in tears and looking stunned. I know you will come back to us. I am the 66-yo that is from Erwin, but all of my dad's family were/are from Benson. I just drove by your Church last Wednesday. I feel like we are old friends, even though we just met. It is a small world. I sold Chrysler and Plymouth in Durham for 20 years. I am part of our sound system team at McMannen, and Danny taught me some new things today. I know we have mutual friends. You have a great future individually and as a group. I can hardly wait to hear what other members will say tomorrow morning during church about your group. Thanks so much. |

We received the CDs and they are on the whole families ipods. You and your group have done a great job on the CDs. Thank you very much for the time and talent it took to create them. I'm in the AK Air National Guard and have been for 18 yrs, 4 yrs in the Army, for 22 yrs service to our great country. I found your group by doing a google search for Gospel Bluegrass groups, I went through the list to find the ones that had a true message in the lyrics of their music, and yours was one of the best, true to the Bible (KJV). We attend Bible Baptist Church in Fairbanks AK, www.biblebaptistchurchfairbanks.com , An Independent Fundamental Baptist church. |

I don't have to go to Louisville to hear great music; last Thursday, I only had to go to Coats. Black Creek sang at Ron's Barn, and since the place was packed, I think it's probably safe to say they'll be back on the schedule next year. I used to think I didn't like bluegrass at all, but Craig, Scott and Tracie are changing my mind! They're all great musicians--I guess that's a rule in bluegrass--but I love to hear Black Creek sing, too. They seem to sing a lot Isaacs and Rochesters songs...and I end up liking Black Creek's versions best, especially "I've Come to Take You Home" and "Patching It Up." I've never heard anyone else do "This Blessed Old Book" or "Casting All Your Care," so no matter where they came from, those are Black Creek songs to me. And after hearing a gazillion quartets do "Have a Little Talk with Jesus," it's refreshing to hear it done a little differently! If you want to hear some outstanding bluegrass gospel, pick up Black Creek's brand new CD, "I Come in the Name of the Lord." I can pretty much guarantee that you'll enjoy it! |

Just wanted to say that your CD contained so much Gospel in song and it was such a blessing to me. My son and daughter-in-law gave me the CD for Christmas. When a friend of mine at work was going through a tough time, it was a way for me to share the Gospel with her. She seemed to genuinely be comforted by the Message in the songs. I told her I would get her a copy if I could. The reason I ordered two of your CDs was to give her a copy and have one on stand-by to give to someone else. I share this with you because I want to encourage you to continue God's Message of Salvation in song. I can't help but think of 1 Corinthians 15:58 where we are told that our labor in the Lord is not in vain. God Bless You. - Marian Lewis, Rocky Mount, NC |

Thank you for the visit and the donations that you gave Barbourtown Church of God during our 2nd Annual Turkey Shoot. You are truly a blessing to our church family. This year was a great success in our fundraising, partly due to you and your contributions. May the Lord continue to bless you and yours throughout 2009. We are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to share the Word of God with so many in our community. Once again thank you for all the contributions that helped to make this fundraiser a great success! Please come and join our church in worship. With great appreciation - Barbourtown Church of God Building Committee |

We just want to personally thank you for all that you did for our family. All the prayers that you gave to GOd were truly heard. We may never know why God puts things in our paths, but it is for sure that He is the Master of all plans. We know that each of you prayed for all, as hard as you could and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. May God bless you and bring to you and your families many, many more blessings. God sent you to us on that night, and we will always be grateful. Thank you and may God bless you. - The Dewitts |

Thank you so much for performing to benefit the Christ Community Christmas Closet. The event was a huge success. With your help, we raised $601.70 and collected about 40 toys. Your generosity will bring much joy to many children in Benson and other Johnston County communities this Christmas. Thank you for supporting this ministry. Sincerely - Melissa Tew, CCCC Volunteer, Benson, NC |

You're coming back to the Chicken House in Montpelier, VA in 2009!! Fantastic! I'll be there. Your music is wonderful. More important - you truly bless your audience! Thank you for letting God use you and your talent. |

Danny, Craig, Scott and Tracie, Had a few minutes to write and tell you that we really appreciated yall coming last Sunday night. We really enjoyed the testimony you shared and all of the good songs you sang. Time just flew by, but Holly and I had a great time in the Lord with you. You're a blessing and thank the Lord for good wholesome music. We look forward to seeing you again. Praying for you as you travel, Todd and Holly Lewis |

I wanted to express my blessing received as you sang at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Jacksonville, NC at our fall festival. The Lord has truly anointed Black Creek with talent but most of all sharing the gospel. There are many groups out there that have great blends but lack the anointing Black Creek has. Keep pressing towards the mark through your God-given talents. I look forward to hearing Black Creek again in the future. May God richly bless all of you keeping you safe as you go to and from all your venues! |
