The Highway Shepherd: Our pastor, Dr. Billy Cashwell, of Benson Grove Baptist Church, is also known as the Highway Shepherd. He founded this home missions project in 1994. Since it's inception, the Highway Shepherd has given out more than 60,000 cassettes and CDs to truckers and travelers alike. Bro. Billy receives letters and phone calls from all over the country describing how the cassettes and CDs have helped strengthen Christian faith and brought folks closer to God. Many have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior through this ministry.

Benson Grove Baptist Church: BLACK CREEK's home church. Our pastor is Billy Cashwell. We are a spirit-filled and growing church. Merry Hearts Ministries: Danny's wife, Teresa, founded this ministry a few years ago. The Lord has blessed her with the gift of humor and the ability of being able to laugh at herself and all of the "adventures" she has encountered while ministering. Her comedy character, Eulamae Etheleen Ledbetter, is a preacher's wife who KNOWS church folks! It is through laughter that Teresa enjoys connecting with her audience the most. The Lord allows her to minister at ladies retreats, conferences, and other venues.

Hannah's Creek Baptist Church: BLACK CREEK's close friend, Rev. Mike Courtney, pastors this wonderful, growing church. "Courtney," as we called him, served with BLACK CREEK for a couple of years. Mike has been the Pastor of Hannah's Creek Baptist Church since August 2005 when services started again. Mike graduated from Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest in 2003 and is currently pursuing a Master's in Counseling from that same school. Before becoming Pastor at Hannah's Creek, Mike served as the Youth Pastor at Benson Grove Baptist Church and an teaching instructor at the Benson Grove Bible Institute for 5 years.

Rubber Room Studio: Jerry Brown of the Rubber Room Studio worked out BLACK CREEK's CD's, "Highway to Heaven," and "I Come in the Name of the Lord" from recording to mastering. Located in Chapel Hill, NC, The Rubber Room has specialized in recording, mixing, and mastering acoustic music since 1996. The studio was designed to combine state-of-the-art equipment while providing a relaxed, comfortable and creative environment for the musician. The layout features 17-foot ceilings in the control room and the central main room, along with three full-view isolation booths surrounding the main room. This flexible setup allows for an entire band to easily record together in the main room or to work together live in isolation while staying visually and aurally connected. The studio’s equipment list is rivaled by few studios anywhere in the country, and provides a powerful combination of the very best of new and vintage gear. It features the current industry-standard computer editing system Pro tools TDM interfaced with a vintage Amek Angela console and equipment such as Neve, Amek, Neumann, AKG and Telefunken

The Rochesters: A wonderfully talented and incredibly humble family of musicians and vocalists who have dedicated their lives and the lives of their families to serving the Lord through their testimony and bluegrass gospel music. If they are in your area, you should make a point to go see them. The Lord will use them to touch your heart in an awesome way. They were our inspiration to hit the road.

Randy Perry Ministries: A lovely evangelic couple with a heart for souls. Randy and Mary sing beautifully together, and Randy is an awesome preacher, who, through a great anointing and touch of God, brings some of the most incredibly moving messages ever heard. He's one of our favorites. They'll be back at Benson Grove Baptist, BLACK CREEK's home church, October 26-29, 2008.

Tom Gilliam Ministries: Evangelist Tom Gilliam is a 1974 graduate of Bob Jones Institute in Greenville, SC. He was a full-time pastor for 18 years in Athens, Georgia. April 1991, the Lord called him into full-time evangelism. Since that time, he has traveled full-time. The Lord has richly blessed his ministry and opened many doors from Alaska to Canada, to the southeast.
